Today at the Poisoned Pen…

…why, that would be me, signing the trade paperback edition of the third and final novel in the Silk and Song Trilogy!

I’ll be in the house from 2-3:30pm today, December 5, talking about this story of my heart and how I came to write it (thus irritating all you Kate Shugak fans out there, yes, I know), and signing all three books. Which, she says modestly, would make a fine, fine Christmas gift for that reader in your family who likes their history romantic.

Click on the covers below to order the full set and I’ll sign ’em all and the Poisoned Pen will mail them out to whomever you say. Come! on! down! if you can. There will be door prizes.

The story so far: In Everything Under the Heavens, Johanna flees the murderous intentions of her evil step-mother in Cambaluc only to fall into the treacherous hands of Sheik Mohammed of Talikan’s lascivious son, the slimy Sabir. In By the Shores of the Middle Sea, the company is scattered across the vast reaches of the fracturing Mongol empire and must find their separate ways to Gaza and from there to Venice, where Johanna hopes to meet her grandfather, the legendary Marco Polo.

In The Land Beyond, the third and concluding novel, Johanna and Jaufre and their friends must find a new home in the West in the teeth of brutal barons and lady pirates and deposed kings.
