…to the launch date of the first book in the Silk and Song trilogy!

This is me signing all your pre-orders at the Poisoned Pen yesterday, and thank you for those!

This is me signing all your pre-orders at the Poisoned Pen yesterday, and thank you for those!

Join me at the Poisoned Pen Bookstore in Scottsdale at 5pm Saturday, where I’ll talk about the loooong gestation period for this work, beginning back before I was first published and including a trip to China to research it.

While you’re waiting, and biting your nails, check out a few photographs from my China trip here, take a look at Cherie Northon’s Silk and Song map here, see the Silk and Song page break glyph which inspired a Danamaniac to invent a quilt pattern here, and see some of the rabbit holes researching this book has led me down here, here and here.

The Silk and Song page with all these photos, links and more is here.

And order your signed copy of the trade paperback from the Poisoned Pen right here!

My hubby and I love your books…. you have my deepest sympathy having to be in Arizona. When my youngest son (of six) was born, it was 127 degrees. This Alaskan girl could never get “home” fast enough.

    Good luck.

Come to Illinois Dana, we’ve got plenty of snow for you! I think our winter has been way worse than yours! Anyway, we’d love to see you again in our neck of the woods. Tell your people that the Midwest is a huge Dana fan-base, and it’s about time they put us back on their map!
